Annie Johnsen opened Invio in 2011. The name means consignment in Italian. It started in the back of Diva Furniture on Rock Road. The shop outgrew that room, then the strip center, and in 2013 moved to 535 N Woodlawn. It is now 12,000 square feet, open seven days a week.
Invio is for people who are moving, downsizing, or combining households, and for the neighbors who want those pieces in their own homes. Not a chain. Not a design studio. A Wichita floor that has been sending furniture back into local houses for more than fourteen years.
